[Typo3] RealUrl and sections

Hi,

My organisation is trying to reduce the number of domains. So instead of 
http://www.department.domain.se we would like to use 
http://www.domain.se/department.

This means that I need sections of Typo3 that is treated as separate sites. 
The templates are no problem, but how do I make RealUrl understand that the 
section is a new site?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
