[Typo3] guestbook and spam

About nine days ago I sent in a query about spammers dropping in spam entries into the guestbook.

I did get a response, and it was to install Modern guestbook.

I checked and it was the modern guestbook. I disabled it anyway on the server as it wasn't getting used that much anyway, but now the attacks have started on another guestbook I have. The first guestbook was on a server in Canada and this one is in New jersey.

Has anyone else experienced this.
