This is the line you need to work on, read up in TsRef about optionSplit. When 
you get the answer post it back here.

It will be something like,

<div id="menulineLeft"> | </div> || <div id="menulineBoth"> | </div>

Which says make the first item have a left line, and everything else have both 
a left line and a right line.

Set your css accordingly.
