[Typo3] Dummy package broken?

Hello,

I am setting up a new site with the 3.8.0 dummy package, and after  
importing the database.sql step in the initial setup, and then  
logging into the backend, I get this error in most of the web-> modules:

Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class:  
t3lib_matchcondition in /var/www/html/LINUX/typo3_src-3.8.0/t3lib/ 
class.t3lib_div.php on line 3500

I have done this with 3.7.0 in the past without problems. Has anyone  
seen this error before?
