[Typo3] tt_news, and archive "back" button

  My question is, when a news archive is setup in tt_news, if more than
  one page exists of articles, the back button on the 2nd and higher pages
  when clicked, blanks out the news. This only happens if you open an
  article on that 2nd page, then hit the "back" to news button.
 So,basically, the main news page goes blank. But, if I hit my link in the
  menu for the main news page, all the news reappears. Has anyone else
  experienced this, and know of a fix.
