[Typo3] CHC-News problem

It's probably me but I'm "almost" finished configuring the CHC-News 
extension.
I've got tt_news working, CHC Forum works as intended.

CHC-News works "almost" as intended. When I go to a single view I see the 
"more comments" link at the bottom of the page, but when I click on the link 
"nothing" happens. It seems to return to the same page again, sans forum.
I think I've followed the docs for CHC-news but it's a bit unclear as to how 
I should organise the content of forum and news in the docs. (Befuddled 
wording in the docs).

Any obvious mistakes I should look for?
