[Typo3] tt_guest - error of version on TER?

I discovered a strange problem:

I wanted to modify the tt_guest-extension.
3.8.0 includes the tt_guest version 1.0.8.
In the former 3.7.0-installation I modified directly the files in the global typo3-directory, but now I wannted to leave them as they are.
I downloaded tt_guest_1.0.8 from TER the extension again, now to my local typo3conf-directory.

But there is something strange: this 1.0.8-version from TER is different to the 1.0.8-version in 3.8.0 (and 3.7.0 as I found out).
You can see this by the missing record-selector.
I looked into TER, but there you can only find version 1.0.8 for download.

What happened? Why are there two "subversion" of the same "version".
