[Typo3] Extension for flexible lists/tables in frontend ?

Dear TYPO3 community,

I'm looking for a way to generate freely configurable tables/lists in
the frontend, like an event database in a way. It should let me define
the number of columns and their names like "Publication | Date of 
Publication | Circulation | Headline | Summary" and maybe an 
additional column for media links. Furthermore it should, like an 
event database, show the most recent entries, be searchable and 
provide the possibility to browse in older records.

I haven't found something like this in the Extension repository. The
event extensions have fixed columns as far as I've seen.

Could you kindly suggest me an extension or some pointers on how to
accomplish this ?
