[Typo3] maillisttofaq...

Hi list

I'm having some trouble with this extension. It is probably my ignorance - but after two long days it is wiser to ask...
I have installed the extension and tried to configure it as described in the manual. The extension appears fine in both BE and FE. 
I have also configured mailman, which works fine. 

However, the problems arise upon activation of the inmail.phpsh. While I can get response from this script from shell, it is not possible when sending a mail. I can see from the log that the mail is feeded to the program.

Jan 27 13:56:57 xxx postfix/local[9602]: 61F8A7382BD: to=<abc at xxxo.dk>, relay=local, delay=0, status=sent ("|/var/..../typo3conf/ext/maillisttofaq/inmail.phpsh")

However, nothing more happens - and the script is not executed. I have put the permissions to 777 (not wise, I know). I have also changed the Postfix allow_mail_to_files option to alias,forward,include. No result. 

Do anybody have any experience like this - and have some suggestions??
I use RHEL3 ASu4, Postfix 2.0.16, TYPO3 3.7, php 4.32, MySQL 3.23
