[Typo3] The right extension for listing office documents?

I think the best solution for your pourpose is Document Directorys!!! I have installed Document Directorys today....and I think is perfect for you!
To install the extention read the manual; ther is also a link to use vware on a windows server!
the frontend user can  upload a file to a directory and the file is immediatedly listed and without the need to add extra info thru the BE!

I try this extention on typo3 3.5.0 - 3.6.0RC1 - 3.7.0 ...... Only in typo3 3.7.0 work for me!!!!!
