[Typo3] How to show only certain groups using user listing plugin (newloginbox newloginbox_pi3) ?

Everyone:

Is there a way to show only certain front-end groups in the newloginbox 
user listing plug-in? The plug-in is terrific and I want to avoid 
re-inventing the wheel -- we would like to show "faculty" on one page 
and "staff" on another, based on their FE group memberships (we're 
pulling the groups from LDAP via eu_ldap).

I've reviewed the mailing list and have located no solution; please 
accept my apologies if this is an FAQ.
