[Typo3] space and 3.8.0

Hello list, 

I haven't been around for a while and checked back yesterday to see
the cool flash movie of Kasper making a website in about 1 minute!
So then I was wondering if there is an estimated release date for
3.8.0 (you gotta love those release date questions). From what I have
read so far it sounds like 'any day now'.
Also, I was wondering if the TYPO3 installation can somehow be made
smaller, because I only have 50 megs of webspace available. Is there
any way to make that happen or do I need to get a new host?
