[Typo3] Converting existing site to TYPO3

Hey Luc,

Thanks for this. As a newbie though, the idea of writing a Typo3 extension 
sounds frightening !
Any guidance on how to do this would be appeciated.

What's exactly the problem? There is no standard plugin to convert a 
complete HTML site to Typo3. Just because every site is different. What you 
should do in my opinion is write a Typo3 extension which loads every HTML 
page in a directory, or multiple directories, and add the content of the 
pages to the pages and tt_content tables. Then you take one HTML template, 
open it in TemplateVoila and click you're site together.

I do not really see a problem?
