[Typo3] Problems with png

Hi list,

In some pages I use png pictures. Some are shown, some not.
With "Quality => Don 't change" it works well. But if I use an other quality 
there's only a fantom image. It is in the source but not on the screen. The 
cursor changes in a hand if I go over the place where it should be.
