[Typo3] tt_news LIST loses links

I am testing tt_news and have found that when I used LIST any links inside 
the text are lost, but when I use LATEST they stay. What do I have to do to 
get the LIST links to stay?

Here is my test page, the first 2 items are as LIST and the other 2 are 
LATEST. They are the same items and one has links and one doesn't.
