[Typo3] Simple Calendar preserve/render link tags

Hi list,

I am using Simple Calendar  with css styled contend. The links I insert with RTE in the description field are nicely transformed from a tags to link tags. But rendering the Simple Calendar does not show a clickable link or link tag in the browser. The link is just converted to text.
Does anyone know where to change this db-to-browser rendering behaviour for this or other extensions?
