[Typo3] ImageMagick 4.2.9

Hello list

I have a successful live website using Typo3 3.6.

I developed the site on a Windows 2000 platform but the hosting server is
Linux.

On the development platform I have the Windows binaries version of
ImageMagick 4.2.9 and images on the pages work as expected - especially the
limited size on the page with 'click to enlarge' option.

On the live site this feature does not work and images are shown full size.
I assume this is because ImageMagick is not present.

The best I have been able to do so far is to download a Unix version of
ImageMagick to my PC, unpack it locally and then upload it to the root
directory of my web site. Using the Typo3 install functions I have then
tried to get the web site to recognise the location of the ImageMagick
installation - I have used the path as reported in the 'All configuration'
screen for the path to this script PATH_thisScript.

But it does not work - I get the message 'It seems that there is no adequate
ImageMagick installation available ' on the Basic Configuration screen.

Is it because the version of ImageMagick is 6.1.9?

Are there different installation versions for different UNIX platforms?

If it requires the 4.2.9 version I don't know where to find a UNIX version
of the binaries because the website only has the latest versions.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Thank you very much

Mike Jones
