[Typo3] local development, database replication

Hi List,

Because quite often my ADSL provider is playing the fool with its clients
(this is not western Europe) AND because I am not always on the web but in
a nicer place to work (but without ADSL connection) I'd like to develop
locally and regularly update the remote installation.

I have now two working installations, local and remote with same database
(copy) and same fileadmin files and same extensions.

I work with webyog GUI which allows synchronization of the mysql database.

Am I right that I could develop locally and then update the remote site by
synching the remote database with the local one and uploading the fileadmin.

Do I loose anything or is this the right way to work.

Greetings from Hungary, Albert Dekker
