[Typo3] caching of pages does not work

wow, thanks to all of you.


I am not to clear with all that. Isn't there some place in the Backend 
where I can check if caching is blocked? It has to be a global setting, 
or am I wrong? If I can't check it I will start to switch off my 
extensions and browse my site until it works.
How do the extension block caching globally (and why)? And the most 
important thing: how can I change the global blocking if I find the 
"bad" extension?
