[Typo3] input with ID

Hi all,
  I want to use javascript in order to do client traitement on an input element.
  But you know that javascipt  function getElementByName is not  working very well depending on browser, the function getElementById  work better ...
  But on typo3 (backend) html element dont have any id only name are defined 
  Would you mind telling me if there is an option to add id on html  element in the configuration or in the extesension (ext_table.php)
