[Typo3] sr_feuser_register MSIE issue

Recently I've updated the sr_feuser_register extension in some 
installations from 1.6.0 to the newest one (2.2.1. on t3 3.8.1 installation)

During tests I've encountered a problem when sending the register form:
When pressing the "Create Form" button on the preview page using MSIE 
for Windows, sending the form fails, i.e. it reacts like having pressed 
"Back to Form" and I am bounced back to the form.

This happens only on MSIE for Windows, as far as I have tested - all 
other browser handle it fine.

The culprit seems to be in the new form (I'm using 
tx_srfeuserregister_pi1_css_tmpl.html) rather than in the extension 
itself - but this is just an idea because using the new form with the 
old extension also fails. (Have not tried yet the new extension with the 
old form.)

My question to the list: Any ideas, or did anyone encounter this problem 
yet?
