[Typo3] Configuration of External Links

Hi,

can anybody tell me, whether it is possible to configure TypoScript in such
a way, that
the real externe URL is rendered into the pages instead of a link to an
Object of type
"External URL" ?

I'am new to typo3 and it appears to me a bit strange, that internal Objects
are used
instead of the real URL to link to outside pages.

Additionally I have some problems connected with external URLS with wget to
produces static pages from my site and I think they could be solved by
rendering the real
URLs.

Any help appreciated
