[Typo3] Directory listing.

Hi,
I would like to list a directory content placed on a file server where samba
running and my user work. I thought to share this dir via NFS mounting dir
on Typo3/Apache server and show this files on my website.
So I would ask you, what method is preferred?
I have to install an extension? (filelinks to each files, it's a lot of
stuff !) 
What extension you suggest?
