[Typo3] Menu Question

Hi,


we have build a typo3-extranet-site, where customers can fill out some 
special forms(via plugin), one for every menu item.
The menu is build from the normal pagetree:

[MENU1]      [MENU2]       [MENU3] ...
    |            |             |
  PLUGIN       PLUGIN        PLUGIN

Now i am looking on a possibility to change the colour of the menuitems 
depending on the plugins. For example, if fe_user 4711 has filled out
Plugin No. 2, the colour of MENU2 should be green, otherwise it should
be red.
Is there any possibility, to change this colour?
