[Typo3] BE charset and Non SGML chars

Is there a way to get non SGML chars, e.g. „ or “ displayed 
in BE when seeing page content elements, i.e. get the char instead of 
it's value?  Charset is iso-8859-15. In RTE I fixed it to work properbly 
, in FE no problem. Just in BE I would like to get e.g. „ instead of „

Any suggestions or links highly appreciated.
