[Typo3] template newbie

If I have this in my template:
 
*<div* id="right-content"*>**<!-- ###CONTENT_RIGHT### START-->**<H2*
align="justify"*>*- Title -*</H2>**<p>*this is the where right content
goes*</p>**<!-- ###CONTENT_RIGHT### END-->**</div>*

I notice that I don't get anything in the FE unless I have a content object 
in the CONTENT_RIGHT place.
What do I do to always get the <h2>TEXT</h2> content of the template 
displayed and formated according to my attached style sheet?
