[Typo3] tmenu in different subparts using autotemplate

hi all,

a played around with the tmenu object and worked out a menu like in the 'modern template building' tutorial. that worked fine for my first tries. no i want another menulayout... and i stuck...

what i want to do is (using autotemplate with subparts.mymarker < temp.menuxy and so on):

one subpart should hold a horizontally oriented menu with the topmost pagelevel pages only

another subpart should be filled up with a vertically oriented menu for the 2nd level and deeper

how can ihandle that?!
