[Typo3] Indexed search and TT news archives

Hello
  I seem to have an issue with Indexed search and TT News. The archive
  news articles are searched, and show up, but do not link to anything
  when clicked. It goes to a "no news id given" on the page (archive
  articles only...recent stories seem to work)
How do you force index search to show the correct article in archives?
