I tested also but FE editing in TemplaVoila is under construction.
I might use TemplaVoila in future but I wait for better frontend editing.
I recommend to install Two columns plugin ('fdfx_2cols') if you need
for some content element special layout. I took of you the another
column and made some special layout using the two columsn view.
See
http://www.tammelanseurakunta.net/etusivu/ - content on the right use
this plugin.
It is easy to use. Just change the normal content into special content.
In order to be reasonalbe loacallang_db.php should be altered in order
to get reasonable names for each layout alternatives
ext_tables.php these needs reasonable labels:
Array("LLL:EXT:fdfx_2cols/locallang_db.php:tt_content.tx_fdfx2cols_type.I.1",
"1"),
Array("LLL:EXT:fdfx_2cols/locallang_db.php:tt_content.tx_fdfx2cols_type.I.2",
"2"),
Array("LLL:EXT:fdfx_2cols/locallang_db.php:tt_content.tx_fdfx2cols_type.I.3",
"3"),
FE editing works fine with this plugin. Headers and bodytext have edit
icons (also if two columns has been used for both columns).
Th_specialelements doesn't support properly front end editing but is in
other respect ok for different layout.
