[Typo3] debug logs

Hi!

running a high traffic website for almost a month now we had two 
database crashes, caused by "some" script of Typo3.
To find out, i need to log directly from typo whats happening with 
queries, executed by typo. Is there a way, similar to
the apache logging of Typo, to let Typo create logfiles of queries and 
faults? TSref is not refering to it, TSConfig neither.
