[Typo3] lz_gallery language problem

Hey,

in lz_gallery, the end- and start dates are all in German. It says 1 Dez  
2005 instead of Dec, Mär instead of Mar, etc. I looked in the source but  
couldn't find anything. Default language is English, although German is an  
additional language, but not even used or configured (in the TS template  
setup) for this site.
Any ideas?
