[Typo3] VTS extension: strange fatal error

Hey,

I´ve been using the VTS, Visitor Tracking System, for some time now,  
with no problems.
However, last time I checked it required me to update the options,  
once I´ve done that I got nothing but

Fatal error: Non-static method tx_dephpot_Summary::makeCero() cannot  
be called statically in /var/www/poisonfree/typo3conf/ext/de_phpot/ 
mod1/class.tx_dephpot_Summary.php on line 324

updated it, same procedure, same error after saving the settings.
completely deinstalled it, reinstalled, same error.

Any idea what might be causing this?
