[Typo3] Is there point of using Typo3 for project like this:

Hi!

Well, there is one tutorial in document section on typo3.org that does
similar things.

Proprietary system in this particular case may do better from
performance point of view but may take much longer time to develop.
Besides cms features, typo3 is a great framework for custom development.
