[Typo3] extra (fifth) layout table type?

Hello list,
How can I add a fifth type to the table element? 
Now default and types 1-3 exist, and I like to implement odd and even color
adjustments in a user-friendly way by just selecting a fifth layout. 

I'm aware that this is possible with some extensions, but I like to do it
this way without adding additional code within the table element itself
(class id) or installing extension which support this.
