a lot of useful advises so far
heris another approach

once i made an extension where you create records of certain kind
(ie downloads,contact...) on (storage)-Page

ie:
create record of type contact, fill fields and set pages
where this contact should be shown.

on page x: contact set for this page?
Yes:take contact
No: slide the rootline till you find a contact to show
so you are able to set a contact for a certain branch of the website

advantage: there is _one_ page with all records, and the record itself
specify where the content is shown.

unfortunately this extension is not documented
but if you are interested

send pm

greetings
markus
