I uninstall and reinstall all. One this is good, is that I don't see the
error message as first described, but instead I now get a blank page.
Checking the install tool it still tells me that PHP does not feature MySQL
support (which is pretty unusual).

Checking the phpinfo.php file (configuration file) I noticed that the path
to mysql is set wrong (it uses an old path, even though I clean everthing up
befor the install). The path as it is set in the configuration:
Apache Environment
PATH C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 4.1\bin

How and where can I change this path to the current path of my mysql/bin
dir. And is this the reason why I only see a blank page? (let's hope so)
