[Typo3] select.where - more values from comma separated list out of database

... I have to extend a class... guess it could work with a PHP Patch... something like 

$tx_asimmoext_typ = explode(",", $row['tx_asimmoext_typ']);

??... i'm quite tough in typoscript, but i guess if i want to get more into typo3 i have to learn php from the base....
