Interesting advice.  Can you provide links, where is this GoLive 
tutorial... and where can I find TSRef... I assume it stands for 
TypoScript Reference?  Would be neat to have one handy.

So basically your advice is to learn TypoScript itself?  Which is a very 
good idea. :)
