Hi list,

I just spent about two days to update an website built
with typo3. It would be great if someone could answer
two questions, I couldn't find an answer in the
archives or via google:

1.) How do I remove the javascript-code regarding the
blurring of links from the header-section of my
generated pages? It's pretty useless, and I kind of
loath java script ...
2.) There is some sort of language selection built in
the website mentioned above. It goes something like
this:

root
-my updates
-old stuff
  -german
  -english

If I enter the URI of the site in a browser, it seems
like "old stuff" gets called from typo3, which
presents me with the old version of the site. I made
"old stuff" link to "my updates" with no effect:
entering the domain name of the site always yields
"http://www.domainname.de/typo3/index.php?id=home_de",
which contains - well, old stuff. Any hints how I
could get http://www.domainname.de to point to
http://www.domainname.de/typo3/index.php?id=my_updates
?
I had a look at the template, but there was no
language-related stuff there.

Thank you very much in advance,
Thoralf.
