[Typo3] Display Checkbox Values on Frontend from Database

Hello
  I have tried to ask this before, and will still look for the
answers. Here is my issue.
  I have created an extension that enables extra area's in the backend
(the data consists of a multiple checkbox, and extends the FE-USERS
table).
  The checkbox has multiple selections (10 boxes), and when used, the
data stores correctly in the database under the fe_users table.
  Now, I wish to display this data in the frontend from that database.
Is there some configuration I can use.
  I have attempted to use the Front end Registration form, with no
luck. I have tried mailformsplus, with no luck. I had to resort to
another package to display this data...and this is just not the best
option. I wish to use Typo3 to do this..
  what am I missing, and what other information is needed to help me with this.
