[Typo3] Macina Searchbox and language

I am trying to have a macina_searchbox extension catch a Croatian 
translation of the frontend output.

I have added a translation to a proper place in 
typo3conf\ext\macina_searchbox\pi1\locallang.php,
and I have this setup in main template:

config.language = hr
config.locale_all = hr_HR

Other extensions catch Croatian language and display it properly, but Macina 
Searchbox doesn't.

I wouldn't like to change the

'default' => Array ()

entries in locallang.php, but put entries in a proper place ie.

'hr' => Array ();

Whatever I do, that 'submit' button stays in English, doesn't get 
translated.

Any hints on how to enable it?
