What is your target?
E.g. in a company each department should be able to maintain their Typo3
in design and content and access:
virtual domains dep.company.tld
one unique Typo3 installation symlinked
No right to install on global only on local.
Start page for www.company.tld maintained by the one who knows Typo3!

That's the way we handle our customers at www.typo3-server.net.

Benefit: if one install fails due to TS or other failures all other will
supply.

In your config it similar to the musketeers all-4-1: if one srews up all
others go down :-(

Regs. Peter.
