[Typo3] installation

what do i do when i dont have access to the server.log and have always the 
Internal Server Error
message.

although the frontend shows up correctly.

the same installation on my localhost works alright.
permissions are set correctly.

what else can go wrong with the provider?

anybody any decent ideas?
