[Typo3] Column ordering

Hey List

Still working through a particularly buggy problem (for me anyways). I've
created a few simple table extensions with Kickstarter and everything works
perfectly except for the initial column sorting. Peter Niederlag offered a
solution (appreciated) but still not a fix. Being a php modifier and not a
coder, I'm at a wall. Has anyone else had this problem and what was the fix.

I'm not going to include my code here. But if anyone can I help I will
include it in subsequent emails.
