[TYPO3-dev] TYPO3 7.6.9 and older: How can the CType options inside of a content element be grouped?

Hi,

I am struggling with the configuration of the new content element wizard
and the CType options inside a content element.

With pageTs 'mod.wizards.newContentElement' it is possible to influence
the "new content element wizard". That's fine.

But how to influence the select field inside of a content element? The
CType options are grouped by a slightly different system, it seems to
me. Which is not influenced by the configuration of the new content
elements wizard.

Any hints?
