Performed the following tests on current 6.2, PHP 5.5:
- changed dependency for PM 2.23 to PHP 5.6.0-0.0.0
- tried to install PM 2.23 from EM
Result: warning that dependencies are not met and that I could install
it anyway if I knew what I was doing.
After this:
- installed PM 2.22.1
- EM didn't offer an update
And finally:
- changed dependency for PM 2.23 back to PHP 5.5.0-0.0.0
- EM now offers an update to 2.23
So far everything works regarding a dependency. It could be that there
is a specific bug that only acts up with PHP 5.3.x.
If you want to test things yourself you could edit the dependencies in
the field 'serialized_dependencies' in the table
tx_extensionmanager_domain_model_extension.
