[TYPO3-dev] Extbase und EXT:version

I've got some objects that may be edited by frontend users. Before
those objects are show to the public, they should be reviewed by an
administrator, so I'd like to have something similar to
workspaces/versioning for them.

Is it possible to use EXT:version for this, or do I need to implement
it myself?
