[TYPO3-dev] How to know if an extension is used or not

Hi,

I would like to know if ther is a way to see if an extension that has 
been set up in Typo3 is used or not.
I like to know this for Typo3 version 4.5 LTS.
The purpose is for migration process from Typo3 V4.5 LTS to v6.2 LTS.
