my usecase: the selection of a user should be saved and restored if the 
user calls sthe module again.
this works for the functionmenu(s) out of the box, but I can't find the 
way TYPO3 is doing it.
Doing it in _any_ way I can think of different ways, but I'm interested 
in doing it in the same way TYPO3 is doing for the functionmenu.
Propably TYPO3 stores the data in the BE-user-record, but I'm not able 
to find it in the source.
