[TYPO3-dev] Automatic installation in ExtManager -> uninstall other similiar ext

Hi,

a question for the developers:

The extension manager downloads and installs ext in one step. I wonder 
if this is really the intended way to go. It saves time, no doubt, but 
it can also cause troubles.

Installing tinymce_rte, for example, actually required the admin to 
uninstall htmlarea. This required step is now totally ignored.

Having been away from TYPO3 CMS for almost a year I most likely didn't 
read up on all the changes and discussions yet, so I apologize if this 
is an old topic. Please ignore then, or post alink for me, which helps 
to get up-to-date.
